Welcome emails / Independent concept

Arrival

Three concise onboarding messages for a fictional personal-library app.

The brief
Introduce one useful action in each email rather than explaining the whole product at once.
The direction
The first message welcomes, the second gives a practical starting point and the third invites reflection. Sender names and product situations are part of the fictional brief.

Onboarding email sample / Arrival

One useful message at a time.

Email 1 · Welcome

Subject: Your next good read starts here.
Preview: Begin with a book you already love.

Welcome to Arrival. Start with a book you would happily recommend to a friend. Add it to your first shelf and give that shelf a name. That is enough for today. A library can grow one good choice at a time.

Action: Create your first shelf.

Email 2 · A small organising step

Subject: What belongs beside that book?
Preview: Find the thread in your first shelf.

Sometimes the connection is a subject. Sometimes it is a feeling, a place or the person who put a book in your hands. Add a second title to your shelf and write a short note about what brings the two together. Your library does not need someone else’s categories to make sense.

Action: Add a note.

Email 3 · A moment to look back

Subject: Leave a note for your future reader.
Preview: A sentence can bring a book back.

Finished a chapter that stayed with you? Write down what you noticed while it is still fresh. It can be one sentence, an open question or the reason you want to return. The next time you open the shelf, that small note can be your way back into the book.

Action: Save a reading note.

Fictional product and editorial sample. No email subscription is offered by this portfolio.

From a concept to your brief.

This study explores one possible direction. A commissioned project starts with its own audience, source material, intended use and agreed outputs. The sample is not a client project or a promise of a particular business outcome.
